We stopped here this morning for brunch on our way home after spending the long weekend in Port Stanley with our family. This was a definite highlight and was a perfect ending to our weekend at the beach. Our family is vegan and my husband and I walked by the charming porch full of diners many times during our weekend walks and noticed a vegan menu option that sounded wonderful. Unsure if our daughter would like the menu option, my husband stopped in yesterday to ask if there were any other vegan options and our daughter was happy to hear that they could do scones with fruit. Upon our arrival today, we were told that we also had the option of waffles with peaches, brown sugar and coconut whip cream which was very welcome by our daughter. My husband and I both had the Maha’s bowl which was absolutely delicious and our daughter polished off her beautiful plate of peach waffles. We ordered two scones that we intended to take with us but we couldn’t resist digging into them at brunch. The staff was lovely and made us feel very welcome and accommodated. Just a lovely experience to end our weekend. Thank you!

Really love this place! Super authentic! We wanted to stay the night but all rooms were booked so we decided on breakfast instead. We ate on the veranda on a beautiful Saturday morning and enjoyed great coffee, treats and a fancy BLT Benedict creation. The prices were very reasonable. A great spot to go with your special someone for a really nice breakfast. Will definitely come back.

This place is magical. Port Stanley is a dreamy little village but the Windjammer is beyond anything I’ve experienced! Adorable, cozy, lovely rooms with multiple pillows, soft sheets and cozy blankets. But it’s the restaurant that makes this place!!! There’s something so whimsical about a restaurant inside of an inn but this one is a beautiful century home so it’s even more beautiful! Kim, the owner, is a truly gifted chef. The best steak I have ever had in my life was made here along with incredible seafood, the best desserts and amazing sides. I know it’s weird to talk about mushrooms but Kim’s mushrooms are the best I’ve ever had. A stay at the Inn comes with free breakfast each morning and it’s not your ordinary continental breakfast but rather a full custom made meal, complimentary! Her waffles are beyond but even the standard bacon and egg breakfast is divine. Even through the winter months, my partner and I have made, and will continue to make, staying at the Windjammer a bi-monthly event and Kim just makes you feel so welcome and important without being overbearing or up in your space. The Windjammer is a magical place and do yourself a favour and stay here and book dinner at the inn restaurant!!! You won’t regret it. If you like cats, the beautiful Widget likes to roam the property and you might get a glimpse of her or maybe even a stop, flop and roll over. :)

Came for a get away by myself Room was extremely comfortable filled with all sorts of things to do. Lovely set up very clean …I could live in this room for an extended period of time. The food ( complimentary breakfast ) was incredible , service was great. The host is a very talented chef. The beautiful old home which was the dining area just added to the charm. I was not rushed and really enjoyed the experience. Will definitely return. Thanks for the great experience !

Our hostess Kim provided amazing hospitality before, during and after our stay in one of the Carriage House units. Our accommodations were clean, welcoming and very cozy. We are very pleased with our experience ~ somehow the lodging and delicious, gourmet breakfast exceeded our hopes and dreams as we have pondered visiting The Windjammer Inn for years. We WILL be back!

We really enjoyed our weekend here, room was clean and a short walk to both the beach and the shops. Food was exceptional, highly recommend Sunday brunch. Kim is a wonderful hostess, and her scones, croissants and second to none. Our first time here, we look forward to returning. Port Stanley is a lovely beach town.

Went for Sunday brunch, and had A+ service and the best ”classic breakfast” that I’ve had in years. The eggs were fluffy nicely, seasoned with her herbs and the home fries were perfect. Very high quality bacon. My friends loved their Eggs Benedict and Fancy Toast as much as I loved mine. Our compliments to the chef. Can’t wait to come back.

This review is for the brunch only since we didn’t stay here. The food and services were excellent. We were truly impressed. It’s the type of quality one would expect from a high end hotel/restaurant. Highly recommend anyone to give this brunch a try when you are in town. Call ahead to make reservations because seatings are limited.

Great stay and great value! We stayed in the carriage house with dedicated porch. Our dog was welcome and the room was comfortable, had everything we needed, and was clean. Location is perfect for walking around Port Stanley and gives easy access to the beach. Breakfast was excellent and the service was great. An easy recommendation.
